Review of 50/50 (2011) by Calan P — 08 May 2013
50/50 is a comedy/drama movie which deals with cancer, so I didn't know how it could possibly be funny. Yet, 50/50 is one of the funniest movies in the past couple of years. Seth Rogen is someone who I have never found to be funny, yet in this movie he was hilarious.
He really surprised me and brought great comedic timing. The performance that was the best though of course was Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The relationship that him and his therapist have is awesome and really cute.
50/50 never made me cry or anything, but it does succeed in bringing emotions.
