I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. It had a lot of humour in it for a movie about cancer. There were some sad parts, obviously, but overall, it had a lot of heard and you really care for Gordon-Levitt's character by the end.
If this wasn't based on a true story, I'd feel the "everything is happy and ok" ending would be a cop-out though.
