Review of 50/50 (2011) by Dakota F — 16 Jan 2013
A wonderful and heartfelt story of how a young man who gets diagnosed with Cancer handles his diagnosis and how it affects his relationships with others in his life. The chemistry between JGL, and Seth Rogen is great and the movie works because of how real it feels, and the writer (probably because it's based on his own battle with cancer) didn't try to add any unnatural melodrama to the story, but rather keeping it more human, and allowing the actors to provide the emotional punch with their performances.
Levitt has just been killing it over the years, he seems to bring such a naturalness to all of his characters, and this is certainly no exception.
