Before watching the movie I didn't know the story, I can say it surprised me once I knew it was about cancer. I personally love Joseph Gordon Levitt as an actor I enjoy all his movies. The movie wasn't bad it was even a little sad ; I think you really feel how hard it is to have cancer here but in other movies about cancer it isn't always like that.
But in 50/50 the sadness of having cancer is more than obvious.
