50/50 succeeds on its subtlety and naturalism, a refreshing change for an american comedy drama. Joseph Gordon Levitt shows us another side to his acting, as he plays a shy well mannered man who we follow in the troubles of dealing with this devastating disease.
Backed by great performances from the charismatic Anna Kendrick, always funny Seth Rogan and entertaining Anjelica Huston and Bryce Dallas Howard, 50/50 is likable film, which although underplayed, excels for it.
