This was almost painful to watch, and probably not in the way intended. 2 stars was me being generous. This movie was very stiff and awkward and not at all seductive. The lead couple had zero chemistry between them.
The story was completely implausible, as in my opinion there is no way the female lead would have been attracted to the male lead, much less consider leaving her husband for him. Stick with the husband.
he's a much better catch. Ok, so poorly cast, full of cliches, dialogue heavy, stiff awkward dialogue which labours every single point. Nothing finessed here. Seemed like a promising film for me - french, infidelity etc.
Sorely disappointed and super surprised to see it receives such a high rating on RT.
