Review of 48 Hrs. (1982) by Austin P — 02 Nov 2007
Alongside "Lethal Weapon", this stands as the finest buddy cop film ever. Murphy's streetwise crim is the perfect foil to Nolte's gruff detective. The fight between Murphy and Nolte is on of the top movie brawls, James Remar is a nasty villain and the action setpieces feature some of Walter Hill's best work.
A fantastic movie.
