Review of 48 Hrs. (1982) by Marcus W — 01 May 2009

Much like origin stories today, back in the 80's you couldn't move for "buddy movies", and that's all this is. Nick Nolte is tough and angry and bad-tempered, Eddie Murphy is a convict with a sharp tongue (though way more blunted than in other films).

And the Chief of police is black and only capable of communicating by shouting. They get together to find some stolen money, blah, blah. It has one good scene and a decent villain, otherwise it's completely forgettable.
