Review of 48 Hrs. (1982) by Aaron R — 24 Apr 2011
The real original mismatched buddy cop and convict actioner is dating really badly but Walter Hill's excessively emasculating script and direction are lifted by the extremely solid Nick Nolte and newcomer Eddie Murphy.
Murphy's natural edge wins in this film, he owns the movie, and you can see why he became such a big star. Eddie please start swearing again. Furiously fun stuff.
