When you think buddy cop movie and Eddie Murphy moments of comedy gold must run through your head but that is not what 48 Hours is. 48 Hours is a buddy cop movie but even with Eddie Murphy involved, it is far from being a comedy. This film is a raw action packed cop flick that is more serious than it is humorous but the pairing of Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy does make for a unique yet natural blend of funny.
If you are a fan of the genre, you really should see this fun film.
