48 HRS. TORE-OUT our eardrums with the level of profanity used rapid-fire throughout the 90 plus minutes--48 HRS. is ASTOUNDING!!!!
Even better than ET-THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (which was the best film ever in 1982).
We saw it in the VALLEY FORGE HILTON HOTEL long before there were MULTI-PLEXES we have today. I was ELEVEN years old and my dad was about to take us out of the threater--I'm glad Dad didn't:
48 HRS. is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience . . .
NEVER had I heard so many curse-words in a movie (I didn't even know what some of them meant at the time).
AND the film is SO FUNNY!!!!!!! and the TIMING for the thrills and the laughter is PERFECT!!!
(of course when it came-out on home video I watched it over again too many times--) Its been about 15 years since I've seen it last, so maybe I'll watch it again!!
