Hiroyuki Sanada and Keanu Reeves deliver believeable characters with great depth and clarity. This story promised much with it's special effects and an immortalised Japanese legend as it's plot.
For most part it didn't disappoint. However there was a sense of trying to squash the narrative together when a longer film may have done it more justice. Enjoyable but not entirely memorable.
