While it tries to stay true to the original legend, "47 Ronin" fills the screen with shoddy CGI monsters, Keanu Reeves with "why-am-I-here" syndrome & weirdly simple story with no surprises.
Hiroyuki Sanada was luckily at his A-game & he saved what he could.
