Watching 47 Ronin is exactly what you think it will be: Bad.
Don't get me wrong, themythology is cool. Unfortunately it just doesn't convert to the big screen very well.
Keanu Reeves doesn't help the problem as he fails to convey any of the emotions the viewer needs to be invested in the protagonist.
