Review of 47 Ronin (1994) by Josh E — 28 Jun 2014
A powerful Japanese historical tale about 47 Ronin which in a nutshell without causing any disrespect were 47 ex samurai.
At first I was like Neo is at it again making another asian blockbuster following man of tai chi.
I have to say I really enjoyed this movie and it kept me going for nearly the length of 2 hours that it was going on for.
From what the end of the movie told me was a life with dignity respect and honour is worth living.
The beautiful portrail of these virtues were greatly shown.
Although this is a remake and I haven't seen the original this was really good.
Not suitable for the kiddies but for you guys and gals that like martial art movies with meaning this is great.
Put this on the list of movies to watch.
The only thing I was not for was the special effects of the supernatural beasts that were shown.
Give the movie a go you will not be disappointed.
