I really have to compliment both Andrew Haigh's direction and Charlotte Rampling's acting, as they both work so well to show how a decades old secret can slowly and subtly change what was once a solid marriage.
This is a very quiet and contemplative film, but it is nonetheless still powerful in its own right.
