Review of 0.45 (2006) by Gary J — 06 Aug 2007

I found .45 a great film to watch. The performances were original, and what a cast! Each actor brought so much humor to each of their parts and certain moments were absolutely chilling. Especially the beating scene. After watching the DVD, that scene in particular stuck with me, not only because of what I witnessed on screen, but what was implied off screen. This must be a testament to the films talented young writer/director (I'm googling him now to see if he has directed anything else).

I found the writing hilarious at times and extremely well written. There is so much junk out there, it is refreshing to see a film that reminds me of some of the favorite directors and films I enjoyed growing up, like Depalma, Scorcese and Cassavetes. Rent it today!
