Don't be fooled by the connections to the excellent Brit gangster pic Sexy Beast. 44 Inch Chest may share a writer and stars Ian McShane and Ray Winstone, but the similarities end there.
Performances, particularly John Hurt, don't connect, and the entire piece feels like it was meant for the theatre and not the movie screen.
