Review of 4.3.2.1 (2010) by Nick R — 05 Jun 2010
Billed as 4. Girls 3. Days 2.Cities 1.Chance.
Its better described as 4.Girls 3.Broken Families 2.Lesbians 1.Pointless Sub-Plot.
From the trailers you would have the opinion its a heist movie, far from it.
It follows four college friends all from different walks of life. Posh/Rich girl desperate to lose her virginity. Quiet girl who has a secret hidden from her friends it causes her parents to split. Feisty Lesbian brought in a broken home. American girl who gets the rough end of the stick at home.
A girl power movie where all the male characters are morons or little street boys who make Ali G look hard. Basically the usual array of cast members and characters from all of Noel Clarke's other films.
Its starts at the end and then takes us through the four individual storylines for each girls over the last three days leading back to the opening scene again. As I stated at the start the whole hiest thing is a bit misleading and only helps to really set up a possible sequel.
It takes a while to get going and seems a bit muddled at the start but I have seen a lot worse recently.
