Review of 4.3.2.1 (2010) by The D — 25 Jan 2011
A little bit of a messy one this from Noel Clarke. A sort of update of the Lock, stock type of story telling detailing the events of the story as they occur to each of the four girls over the course of 3 days in two cities.
It's all quite glitzy with a very "street" dialogue. The story revolves around some stolen diamonds & the people trying to get their hands on them.
By the time you get to the third set of events you start to lose interest & then when you finally have all the parts it just has such an anticlimax.
Apart from some bright scenes from Emma Roberts the leads are quite annoying & you find it hard to want anything good to happen for these girls & the movie just fizzles out.
