42 is an old-fashioned, all American, old school sports movie that I loved. The acting by Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman is great. The chemistry between them seems so real and it feels like they could actually be real friends in real life, rather than just team manager to player.

Brian Helgeland directed this movie very good and he was able to capture all of the sports action at the baseball games without resulting to going to shaky cam. And he directed every other scene too very good.

When the baseball games were going on, you could actually really feel the excitement, like you were at a really baseball game watching it in the stands. It was shot so well and it was also executed very good.

The script has very clever dialogue and it was written good. It was sweet, nice and often very funny and it worked to its full advantage in the movie. Now the subject of the movie, besides you know baseball, is segregation.

What happened to Jackie Robinson in this movie was so awful and I felt really bad for him. Now what happened to every other African American was bad, don't get me wrong, but he was doing what he obviously loved, and he was hated and punished for it.

42 was a sweet, nice, very inspirational, highly entertaining and enjoyable movie that was very well made and executed really great. It had amazing acting between it's two leads, also great chemistry between them.

It's script was clever, often surprisingly very funny, and all around just good, with also good directing and exciting baseball moments. 42 was a very entertaining and enjoy ale movie that brought a famous story about Jackie Robinson and brought it to the big screen very well as I liked it a lot.
