Jackie Robinson to this day is one of the most important baseball players to ever live. He was the first crack in the wall of racism in sports in America, and caused a generation of young black men to see themselves and their race in a different light, and this is a really good movie about that.
Both Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford are terrific and all the baseball looks great too. All in all it tells the history of what happened, but also entertains too, so kudos to Brian Helgeland and his team for pulling it off.
