Though it holds back a little on the real-life instensity of this historical event, the flawless acting and emotional performance from both Boseman and Ford brought a tear to my eye. 42 tells the true story of a legend in the world of not only athletics, but in history, the story of a man strong enough to not only raise his sword, but also sheathe it.
And that is true strength in every way.
