Disappointing on a couple different levels. The acting was corny in an overtly old-fashioned motion picture way. And the story points were predictable, not in the sense that it's historical, but from the dorky one-liners, to recurring character behavior, to the scene transitions, it was an obvious bore.
It's a shame too, because there is a powerful and true narrative here. I was surprised to find this wasn't a Disney movie once the credits rolled and I'd felt like I just left It's A Small World with cotton candy in hand.
