This was a good film considering it was a biopic of a sports figure. Not many movies are good in this genre-or even decent. Often contrived and/or the acting is too horrible to watch. This had some of both but not too much to make it unwatchable.
Further, I learned things I didn't know about the man. However I think many of the things he probably he had to endure are not a part of this film.
