Don't know if it deserved the Palm Door, but this is a grueling depiction of life under Communism, in which you're at the mercy of every jerk sitting behind a desk. The life depicted here seemed way more "capitalistic" than ours, since every interaction involved an exchange of goods or power.
Excellent performances by Anamaria Marinca (Otilia) and Vlad Ivanov (Dr. Bebe).
