Review of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) by Samir S — 08 Aug 2012
Shot mainly in long takes, but not necessarly complicated or elaborate ones, this film use as little cuts as possible, which is refreshing compared to most mainstream movies. The story is interesting and painfully intense, even though it's quite slow in parts.
The acting is solid, but I have to say that one of the characters is extremely annoying, making me lose interest in the film for a while. Hopefully, director Cristian Mungiu is talented enough, which brought me right back into the story.
Solid drama.
