One of the best Western movies I have ever seen. It stands right at the top of the genre along with Unforgiven, True Grit, and The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. Russell Crowe and Christian Bale give incredible strong performances in the lead roles and serve as perfect opposites that neutralize each other in almost every way.
This movie accomplishes the rare feat of being a remake that outshines the original.
