DOUBLE THUMBS UP.
The best Western film of all time, better than any other because it does not resort to shooting and violence alone. For most of the time Russel Crowe steals the show with an incredible performance in an against type role, but in the last half an hour, Christian Bale gives his best ever emotional performance and the film packs itself with a fantastic showdown in the end and splendid direction.
