Review of 3:10 to Yuma (2007) by Sean L — 26 Dec 2013
The movie is an interesting new angle on the classic American Western. There's ample character development in the backstories of both Crowe and Bale's characters, and regardless of Ben Foster's appearance as a borderline archetypical character, he still makes the sociopathic sidekick to Ben Wade more enjoyable than one might expect.
Came at a time when I was unfamiliar and uninterested in the genre itself and gave me a good modern introduction and motivation to delve deeper into the classics that inspired it.
