Review of 3:10 to Yuma (1957) by Patryk C — 25 Jul 2012
More satisfying and thrilling than the original, 3:10 to Yuma presents a touching story about a small-time rancher, who agrees to hold a dangerous outlaw and, thus, puts himself in grave danger. As he eagerly awaits the 3:10 pm train that will put the rebellious desperado on a train to prison, he has to fight with a whole gang of no-goonicks.
Visually effective, well-directed movie with smashing performances by Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.
