It seems like they just don't make westerns like they used to, and rarely are they as epic as the 2007 version of 3:10 to Yuma. Powered by incredible performances by Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, this film delivers on multiple levels.
The western landscapes are breathtaking, the action is well-executed, and the pacing is perfect. This is the ultimate tale of redemption and sacrifice, and among all the bullets and carnage, it is a film that has a lot of heart.
