Review of 3:10 to Yuma (1957) by Nathan T — 11 Sep 2012
As an introduction to the 'Westerns' genre it's very good. The story is linear, concentrating on the relationship between the criminal (Russell Crowe) and the civilian hero (Christian Bale) as they are chased to the train.
But where this film shines is in its clear sense of creating a cool consistent Western which can relate to kids and adults keeping the films tension high with action, and your attention on track with very likable characters ;) (Watch with family).
