Review of 3:10 to Yuma (1957) by Sam A — 21 Dec 2013
Upon second time of watching I realised just how good this film is. An attempt to make a gritty western completely pulled off by Mangold and his cast, especially the two leads, Crowe and Bale, as well as a sterling sadistic performance from Crowe's second-in-command Ben Foster.
Cinematography is really incredible, and the direction and editing keep the film moving along at a break-neck speed.
