Review of 3:10 to Yuma (1957) by Dan O — 07 Jan 2014
This is a decent western, classic in structure. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe are well cast. There could have been more character development. As far as I know in the original 3:10 to Yuma the Ben Wade character isn't as ruthless so the change of heart is not quite as subtle as in this remake.
Typical Hollywood ending but it's a remake so what can you do? Classic score.
