Review of 31 (2016) by Jason W — 10 Jan 2017
Unnecessary. That's about all there is to say about the latest Zombie installment. I'm okay with casting wife Sheri-Moon Zombie in all your films. I like her. She was perfect in House and Devil's.
I'm okay with casting old forgottens in your movies. Sometimes that's just the touch of authenticity you need. But maybe you should try something new, like a movie about a colorful group of murder hounds (oh wait, you've done that before), or maybe you should cast Ginger Lynn in a role doing what she does best--f!@#ing (oh wait, did that too).
See where I'm going here? At this point in the career, Rob Zombie can pull off something big if he wanted to. This one just seems like it should have been his first attempt at film making.
