This movie tries to be many things - a comedy, a thriller, a caper, an action-packed extravaganza....and trying to make all that work at once killed the movie. Costner and Russell have excellent characters that would've been far better off in movies that suited their individual characterization but sadly they're stuck in the same jumbled movie.
The action-sequences are so over the top that it definitely qualifies as gun porn as well. First time I think I've ever even thought that watching a movie and I love some action-packed flicks.
