Review of 300: Rise of an Empire (2014) by Vasco M — 20 Jul 2014
A complete step-down in every way, with the exception of the battle choreography. There are no truly quotable, epic singular moments that made the previous entry stand out, and the action seems too chaotic and the character development too thin to warrant any emotional investment.
Granted, the focus is on every other Greek faction but the Spartans, yet the style and effects are too different.
