Better than lowish expectation- Eva Green's performance as hard as nails female fleet commander Artemisia is enjoyable. Nice SFX as usual and some creative battles scenes .. but not a lot else going on, other than the usual Yankee Doodle motivational speeches.
Green & Stapleton's love/fight scene is a highlight; but latter is no Gerard Butler.
