Review of 300: Rise of an Empire (2014) by Chad D — 16 Jul 2014
While as equally impressive visually, 300: Rise of an Empire loses a little of the originality that made its predecessor so unique and entertaining. Nonetheless, the action is still sufficient and impressive and Eva Green's turn as the villain announces her presence as a leading lady in Hollywood.
Entertaining, but glorifies the gore of its predecessor. Good nonetheless.
