"Hope you fight better than you...".

300: Rise of an Empire was much anticipated by the target audience and thankfully it fall short of being too miserable, rather it was an experiment Hollywood designed to see if you'll still go and you did in which case you had a decent time. Like the original, the next in the series, served the classic blood gore slow mo I killed you sequences that the audience loves but didn't follow through on story, which was the main factor that made 300 better than Rise. The storyline of the original in comparison to the next in the series was set by history, not entirely by script, this was harder to follow but still made sense. Eva Green was a flawless cast for female lead and narrator for this movie and made it more interesting. Unfortunately, the protagonist gave less of a compelling performance than Eva and Leonidas which is a major dissapointment to 300 fans. The concept of adding water into the scenarios of fighting was an excellent idea, it gave more purpose and it was new as well as innovative. Overall, blood in the sea, was a smart move and the classic your dead never ceases to catch my attention, good movie to watch with the bros or alone, not so good to watch with the girls.
