The bit with the soldier not letting his son fight with him was cliche and underdeveloped. The hero wasn't very well characterized. Other than that, great movie. Well done action, an epic plot with a great sense of scale and grandeur, and an awesome main villain.
The slow-mo wasn't as overdone as in the previous film, which I appreciate.
