Zack Snyder's 300 is a fun time, but one that is not without flaws. I've never been the biggest fan of Zack Snyders direction due to all of his films having a stylized feel to them that don't add anything to the story and 300 certainly has that.
He focuses more on visuals rather than substance which at times take me out of the experience. With 300, I felt they used way too much unnecessary slow motion during the action scenes. I had fun with the film but I don't understand how people claim it to be a masterpiece.
The acting was ok and a lot of the action sequences were repetitive. Another problem I had with the film was the dialouge. At times it is really cheesy and make you cringe and how dumb it is. I didn't hate the film, but I definately think it is overatted.
Overall 300 is a flawed but nonetheless entertaining 2 hours.
