Pretty disappointing. The storyline was heinously inaccurate (which is the entire point when you make a film based on a true story), and the action scenes did not detail the true tactics of the Spartan soldiers (extremely compact phalanx formations with very long spears, not running amok at all).
So for me, not even the action scenes could save the film. I hope someone else remakes this properly.
