Now critically this is "amazing" but to me I just love it. I remember watching it when it first came out and just loving every action scenes it had and caring and liking the characters. Now to me this is just plain awesome and it's fun to watch it every once a while.
Yes story isn't a strong suit but that's the only flaw I found, but over the year that doesn't even bother me because I like the simple story. Now this film is like the matrix, not saying it's "like" it but it's a very memorable film.
Just as the matrix spawned many unforgettable scenes I think 300 does that as well. Anything from the fighting sequences, the slow motion, badass leonidas, the awesome lines or just the "this is Sparta" scene.
Overall from its action to its non stop action this is an amazing film.
