Review of 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010) by Steven B — 04 Dec 2010
Not bad follow-up to the cracking 30 Days of night. Much lower budget and no real names, but still manages to be engaging.
It began badly for me, becuse it was obviously low budget and didn't have any of the actors from the first movie (although in truth most wind up dead) but the strength of the storytelling (based again on the original work by Steve Niles) and the commitment to the project of carrying on this interesting francise finally won me over. Decent direction, good action and an interesting story kept this from being just another poor sequel milking the fans of the first.
