It really doesn't stay true to the first film at all and as it progresses it really gets one-dimensional. Another thing was that Josh Harnett or Melissa George do not reprise their roles which was a huge let down.
The first film was a great at making vampires scary...I was looking forward to a bigger and better sequel, but nothing more than a shitty story and unrelatable characters.
