Review of 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010) by Angela V — 06 Jan 2011
Brilliantly horrific and terrifying, this film is one of the better horror film. It engages the audience and pulls them into the seemingly hopeless and dark situation. The vampires were certainly not as lovable as the Cullens and don't sparkle in the sunlight, but the bring horror lovers a different kind of dazzle.
(Not in the traditional sense of the word) Ha ha! loved it and the ending was rather tragic and poetic- just as the sun begins to rise over the burnt down town, our hero sits with his wife facing the horizon to die a most tragic and sacrificial death.
