Review of 30 Days of Night (2007) by Mikek. — 22 Oct 2007
I have a lot of respect for this movie. Even since I saw "the hills have eyes" I had lost my respect for horror movies. It just seemed that horror movies had lost all of their style and substance.
There was gore in this movie but it wasn't sprayed or gushed at every possible second that is unless one of the easily liked characters or easily hated monsters spills it. The fresh plot and setting, are what set this horror flick apart from other gore-fests and monster movies of today.
