True I am biased because this is a vampire movie (I LOVE VAMPIRE MOVIES!) but it wasn't actually scary to me... The movie had no sense of direction, and there was no real build up to the scares. However, I liked the new take on the vampire design, they look disgustingly distured and placid, which was cool.
Just like the comic series, I hope they make a sequel about Stella's life after Barrow in California. Overall, I loved the concept behind the film, just not the execution.
